When You Are Desperate

Top 3 things you do when you are stuck in the jam, hungry, thirsty and wanted to pee but there's no where to stop to relief yourself!

NUMBER 3... *drums rolling* Repeat the sentence again and again...

Example:
Me: Hou tou ngor ahhhhh (translation: very hungry!)
Friends: Hou tou ngor ahhhh (repeats whatever you say)

Reason: Because you are hungry and tired and bored, sooner or later you and your friends would run out of topic to talk about. Thus, there's a tendency to repeat the words said by the group members because there's nothing you can do but to complain about it.

NUMBER 2.... Ask roadside passer by whether they have food supply...

Example:
Friend: *winds down the window* MAKCIK (yells), boleh kasi nasi lemak satu?
Makcik: (thinking you are crazy, stares at you and walks away)

Reason: when you are so hungry that you wanna die, you will have the unusual thick skin condition and would do any extremes to get food. Although this usually does not works, it is worth a try-At least you died trying, rather than died of hunger.

Bunny, Why Are You So Naughty!

I had to postpone the blogpost which i intend to write about today because something really funny happened. Well, its a Saturday and me and my sis, RedButtockz Wern had planned to do thorough cleaning of our house. And as we were cleaning the pet cages (in case you didn't know, we had two pet rabbits - Fluffy & Bunny).

REFLASH OF MEMORY: Fluffy & Bunny (photo taken on January 2011)

And what happened today was, Wern exclaimed that Bunny is really fat, perhaps entering OBESE STAGE! *wtf* So we changed him to a bigger cage (Yes, Bunny is a male rabbit) so that he can run around in a bigger space.

This is how big his cage is... (It's a dog cage donated by a friend). Initially, this cage was occupied by Fluffy, and we put a bear toy (donated by TianChad) ~~for them to f*ck with~~ .

Amazingly, that's EXACTLY what Bunny did with the toy bear~

As a result,

*speechless*

*screech in horror*

*wtf*

Didn't i mention that we just CLEANED THE WHOLE HOUSE TODAY!??!

=.=" and he just kinda sprayed 360degrees from the cage. *wtf* with the furthest stain 1.59meters from the cage!

When Friends Get Together 2011

Hmmmm... How shall I began? Okay, i shall begin my story today by advising holidaymakers to avoid Cameron Highlands on public or long weekend holidays. Hehehe..

Okay, me and a gang of friends went up to Cameron Highlands on 26th November 2011. Well, the trip up was pleasant, through Simpang Pulai route. But never did we anticipate the crowd and jam on the hill itself!

Nonetheless it was an enjoyable trip for all of us. It was drizzling and the air is very cooling and refreshing!

Flowers and Vegetables are all sold at very reasonable prices~

Found something that looks so delicious and asked the seller what vege is this called. "Rabbit Carrot" she replied. hehehe..

Managed to boil a very delicious soup for the steamboat!

And also a very ordinary taste English Breakfast set.

Deciphering Happiness

There are times in life when we seem to feel really blissful, happy and content. But yet, there are also times that we feel as though doomsday is near. It happens in circles - Happy, Sad, Happy, Sad...a never ending chain of emotions.

Different people have different ways of decoding and displaying emotions. Some people can feel sad and depressed easily. Some, on the other hand, feels elated and happy all the time. For me, i prefer to be surrounded by happy, optimistic people, rather than those moody "emo" kind. Well, how can i feel happy when i see your coal, black face? How do i know what's happening to a person if he shunned himself one corner and refuse to talk? and how do i make you happy when you make me unhappy when i see u?

Well, i'm broke for this CNY, but proud to say i'm happy. Yupz, with a tinge of panic but not fear or depressed. What comes around will eventually pass. I am surrounded by my precious friends and family that sometimes i forget what unhappiness is all about.

At this moment, being broke, i'm very sensitive when the money issue arise. HAHAHA..so, praying that this CNY will be profit making one, with more angpao collection! *winkz* If cant collect much then i'll find another method to milk money then :P

But, if you are unhappy, you can share with me. I may not be able to solve your problems, but i can be a good listener.

You Know It's Time To Change When...

HAPPY 2012!!!

It has been ages and ages since I decided to write something on my blog. I don't know why i felt as though I have lost touch with msxeroz.com, and there's no desire for me to revive it. Anyway, i tried doing a blogpost saying GOODBYE 2011. But instead of "saving as draft" i clicked published post. So, you can see that the blog has all random, unorganized photos with no caption and looks as sucky as possible!

THAT'S when i realised that i am no longer passionate about my blog. Thinking back, msxeroz.com is me, and i am msxeroz.com. How can i abandon myself? This whole feeling is not right, and thus, today i took the initiative to give this blog a new look! So that i can put my heart altogether again and make it as nice as possible.

Despite being a tough 2011, i managed to accomplish some things which i'm ~~NOT~~ proud of!

Abandon my blog with the reason to focus on my career.
Abandon my job and blog altogether, ended up i have nothing to focus on.
Realised that i have 2 friends who stayed with me through thick and thin. Thanks! you know who you are!
I bought a house on my birthday - 14 May 2011!!!

Finally got an acknowledgement of being a Girlfriend to Soon Zi Jian on 12 June 2011. After dating for 6yrs finally he acknowledge my status by giving me his first ring! *YEAH!!!*
Got robbed on 21-July-2011. Lost a laptop, Nikon D90 DSLR full set, and Panasonic Lumix FS-62. But i moved on...believe in karma, what is taken will be repaid soon.

Moved in to my new house on 11 September 2011. This was no doubt the happiest day of 2011!
Left the pig and bitch and got myself a new life!
By Dec 2011, I landed myself with loads of debts.

So, 2012...

It Has Been A Long Time...

It has been a long time since i last login to Blogger and write something. I thoroughly enjoyed my life during 2010 (last year). It was a fantastic year for me as i experienced and gained a lot of things in life. In 2011, I had decided to focus more on my career because I want to buy a house of my own. And I was so busy with my travels and work, tired....I had forgotten about this blog and how much happiness it brought me.

As i read through my previous posts, I find that I have changed into a more serious person. *HAHA*. But many things had occured since April 2011 (which i will write more about in near future) and i took a drastic step to quit my favorite job for a more stable, in-office type of work. So, here i am, typing these words through my office computer (just like the good old days).

I wonder whether have i been totally forgotten in the blogosphere? hehe.. Hope not. Well to all my blogger friends and mates, just to give you a note...

Energizer NightMARE Race- From The View of A Non-Runner

Have you heard of the most sensational, most-discussed and also most-criticized event in town?

Yups, it's the ENERGIZER NIGHT RACE 2011, held in the Sepang International Circuit yesterday (16 April 2011). You can have a look on some of these prominent blogs for insight view from the runners (participants): TianChad, Places and Foods, and The Backpackr.

You can also view the Energizer Night Race Official Facebook page and look at the never-ending comments.

And also on the BOYCOTT ENERGIZER NIGHT RACE Facebook page.

But I'll try not to focus on their wrath and fury on the event. I'll tell you my story of what happened that night.

About 7pm, we arrived at the Sepang International Circuit. Parking was chaotic despite the police attending the traffic. However, we managed to find a parking at somewhere near the entrance to the carnival. Thankfully, our parking for that night is FREE. (Hundreds others are being charged RM10 for parking yesterday).

Feeling enthusiastic, the two runners who i came to cheer on cant wait to start their race. I brought my parents along because they have never been to Sepang International Circuit before.

Initially, we were surprised to see that there's some stalls. This is good for us non-participants because we can have some snacks and drinks while waiting for the runners to complete their run.

The whole area was packed. I saw people having headlights and asked my sister, "hey, where's your headlights?", she say she didn't have one. We went to search for the directory instead.

The directory was helpless. It doesn't contain any information other than race collection kit. It is also useless as it does not point on where is the start/end point, and which gate the runners should enter.

The agenda is as follows:-

I guess things didn't go as per written in the agenda. I was standing near the stage waiting for warm up, but nothing happened (Maybe i missed it, perhaps i'm late). But then on stage, there's a group of drummers responsible to usher the runners to the starting point. It reminds me of a scenario in "Pied Piper of Hamelin"

After waiting on the grounds for some time, we entered the pitt with other runners. We found a spot to see the starting point from a far, and note how dark it is...

The race started! I took note of the time and found out that the organizers had not followed the time schedule. Different categories of run had been let off with a close time gap. I was wondering how can they coordinate the different categories because runners will be mixed up.

The headlight is the "highlight" of the race. Lightening up the dark area of the surrounding. The headlight is really beautiful.

However, i was curious as well to see that some runners are running without the headlights. Isn't it dark? It is dangerous as well (in case of falling into drains or holes). The lights can serve as an emergency signal in the dark for the runners in case of trouble.

Found my sis and tianchad... Too bad its blurrred..

After the 5.5km runners had left, I brought my parents for a walk, describing about this event and place. However, a rude lady MC's voice bellowed "PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT RELATED PLEASE GET OUT OF THE PIT STOP AREA. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE HERE"

I was curious, is she asking us to get out? Then my dad was frustrated because she keep "yelling" for us to get out of there. There are a few supporters like us in that area, waiting to welcome the runners back. However, i felt that her intonation is really rude.

Before going up, we went in the media room (located on 1st floor). The 1st batch of runners had returned and weird thing is, they exited the running track. (Since 5.5km had just left, i assumed that the runners are from 11km that should go two rounds of the circuit). I saw that none of the officials stopped to ask the runners why they exited the course.

Then we went out for an outdoor movie screening and some snacks.

We watched Transformers 1 finish and the starting of Transformers 2. You can imagine how long we sat there and the runners aren't out yet. My parents are complaining about backache and legache for waiting too long already. Then, 4 police cars entered. My mom overheard some runners conversation that a riot broke out due to the distribution of the goody bags.

While waiting again, a man drenched in sweat came running to us, he was speaking in a disoriented way. We were puzzled. He kept going in rounds and asking the guards where is the direction to complete the 42km race. He says that he is the first runner and could not find any guide to the end point.

After all the hoo haa and ruckus settled, we then thought of the man. He must be a contestant for the 42km race and had lost his way. It's so bad that the race had to be this way. There were not enough guides and markers along the race, causing a confusion. The man looked really wet, and lack of breath! We spotted him running around asking guards but the guards couldn't help him. Imagine how much cash prize he had lost due to this (if he really was the 1st runner).

After waiting 3 hours 30mins, my sis finally emerge with a heavy sigh. The organizers were really horrible for not fulfilling their words.

1. No medals or certs for race finishers

2. No light refreshments as promised.

3. No finishing T Shirt as promised.

4. Not enough headlamps for all the runners

5. Not enough drinking stations and wet sponge station.

6. Not enough medics. Supposingly there's medic station.

The runners left the race with hungry stomach, and feeling bitter. Me and my parents left with an eye-opening experience.

I have been following closely the updates for this event. Waiting for the organizer or Energizer to speak up about this issue. Instead of tackling this issue effectively and voice apology, criticism and comments on their official Facebook page has been deleted. This does NOT solve the problem, but trigger even more fury from the people.

So now, the race has officially started:

Don't Be As Stupid As Ibrahim Ali

Here's an example of his stupidity, ignorance and retardedness:

I agree with his first paragraph, that sometimes men are fed up when wives neglect their responsibility. A wife's responsibility is to take care of the home, husband, children and make sure everything is running well in the family.

Husband drives home after work and feel sexually aroused. Erm...I didnt know that guys can be aroused after spending 30mins to 1hr of traffic jam. Please enlighten me on this matter. All i know is that, guys came back tired and feel hungry and wanna bathe. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Well, perhaps guys do get aroused in traffic jams.. *Looking forward to see aroused guys in jam tomorrow =)*

Can't guys control their sexual needs. I mean, CAN you actually "perform" while your wife is cooking? *Imagine*

Perhaps I'm not a Muslim, so i don't know that wife should stop everything she's doing to fulfill her husband's demands. Eg. If you are shitting, and your hubby need sex, stop shitting and have sex instead!

I can't imagine why a person with such mentality can be a leader to his followers. A leader is a person who is capacity to think, speak and act with logic and wisdom. This is how a leader is respected by the society.

Extramarital affair and the cause of it is a subjective matter. There are 1001 explanations on why, and what cause it to happen. We cannot just make a conclusion on the cause of it and put the blame on wife's negligence. A wife not necessarily be able to read husband's minds, and vise versa.

Malaysia politics are worse than circus. With sodomy II, sex tape, MACC deaths...well, I kinda have the mind of going oversea to work and live there. Any suggestion on which country i should head to?

[Day 4] Shanghai: Thames Town & Water City of Zhou Zhuang

Hi all,

Wow it has been almost 2 weeks since my last blog post XD

Sorry ya~ was sick for couple of days. So, today, no matter what, I'll have to share my story of my ~~recent~~ trip to Shanghai.

So here's a recap of my stay:
Day 1: Exploring New City Song Jiang
Day 2: Training Officially Starts and Feast of Food
Day 3: Scenic Places of Thames Town & Night Scenery of The Bund

On Day 4, me and my room mate woke up at 6.30am again to ride on the battery tram car (provided by Hotel) for another round of tour. This time, the weather is fine (despite the coldness) and not misty like the previous days.

There's practically nobody in this town, so all sorts of poses can be shot without embarrassment :P

I love these row of houses. It looks very neat and i hope one day I can have a chance to enter one of the houses here.

Flowers of all sorts can be found. After 4 days, the temperature is rising and plants started to bloom.

One of the famous coffee outlet here, the Incomplete Coffee Shop. It closes at 10.30pm, and I've been here for the coffee. To be frank, the coffee is super expensive (but no choice it's the only kopitiam available). Taste wise, nescafe 3 in 1 tasted even better!

After my sales meeting, a tour was arranged for us all to the Water City of ZhouZhuang.
Often labelled as Venice of China, this town is one of China's top tourist spot.

It is also said to be famous of silk products, such as blankets, shirts, dress, scarfs and handkerchiefs. Whether the products are authentic or not, it's another matter XD. For me, my principle is, NEVER buy unnecessary things in TOP TOURIST SPOTS.

Being a first timer in China, buildings with architecture like this, mesmerizes me.

Like I said, NEVER BUY UNNECESSARY THINGS is my no 1 principle, so, i cekup (steal) whatever people bought. LOL!!! Joking lahh.. Someone gave me a try on this candy. Love it!!!

Then some one bought me this!!! In Hong Kong drama series, we always see of this candy satay called "Ping Tang Hu Lu".

Inside, it looks like this~

I love eating the rock candy, but not the plum inside.. The plum is basically tasteless and have powdery texture.

Another one of the local specialty is the Pork Legs. Unlike Malaysia, pork can be served in public places ~~without JAKIM chasing after them~~

Scenery wise, ZhouZhuang is indeed surrounded by waters and rivers. You can hire a boat for a slow ride along the rivers for a fee.

Locals not only earn by ~~cheating~~ selling local food, handicrafts and souvenirs. Salted fish and vegetables are for sale here too!

The lanes are connected by a bridge. Another thing that never fails to amaze me is that there are so many bridges, some small and some big, but all the bridges have a beautiful arch shape and unique design.

Seriously, i regretted for not buying this. These are handmade items that I can hardly find in Malaysia... *tears of regret* Thus, sometimes, it's not good to stick to my principle of NOT BUYING UNNECESSARY ITEMS....

Air drying pork meat is legal here too! I'm kinda feeling disgusted by this...

Another thing that i regretted for not doing is to rent a princess/goddess costume!!!! I think it costs RMB 50 (RM25) for this. A little more expensive than other places but this is the only place that offers goddess costume.

I didn't only buy 1 hat, i bought 3 for RMB60 (RM30)

I would love to return to ZhouZhuang for more photography, and perhaps a nice calm boat ride. As an advice, don't bother buying any souvenirs here. The goods were super expensive. I bought a silk pyjama for RMB50 (RM25) after haggling from RMB120 (RM60). Then, when i visited another city, my eye nearly pop out when i saw the price tag of "5 for RMB100" for the same silk pyjama.

Ripley's Believe It that Snow World is as fun as Haunted Adventure

Here comes the 3rd installment of the Bloggers Day Out in Genting Highlands!

After lunch, we headed to the scariest place in First World Plaza, HAUNTED ADVENTURE!

The eerieness of the place can be felt, as "ghosts", "monsters" and "scary objects" are placed near the entrance of the Haunted Adventure (beside the Times Square stage).

You will be greeted by a cameraman, who is really spooky and scary as well. I don't know why, but this little guy here really scared me. The way he smiled, the way he talked, he is really like a ghost!

No cameras are allowed through our ghostly haunted adventure. I can describe the whole experience as

"Dark, with monstrous laughter, and evil souls lurking around every unexpected corners"

You can put on the 3D glasses for extra intensity.

It was so dark and you cannot see the steps, and cannot really see the ghost.
I suggest Haunted Adventure to add some reflector on the edge of the stairs steps, and add more lights so that we can see the silhoutte of the ghosts better. The audio should be changed from "HAHAHAHAHAHA" and shrieks all the time. Really, that's not spooky.

Spooky audio should be like dead silence, then with occassional whispers, sound of footsteps running, furniture moving, and old lady coughing.

Next, is the Ripley's Believe It Or NOT!

This time the highlight of the place is the fertility statue. It was said to have helped more then 2000 women to conceive despite doctors had told them that they cannot. Even 13 members of Ripley's Entertainment staff got pregnant after touching the statue!

I don't know how it works, perhaps you gotta touch everywhere and both male and female statue to make it work!

The Ripley's Believe It Or Not was really a fun place to be in! I could spend all day reading his comics and see the artifacts displayed.

If any of you here have incredible talents and artifacts, you can submit "dry preserved" specimens to Ripley's Genting Highlands. It is a recommended place for family and definitely an educational and eye opening experience for kids.

A Gastronomic Adventure @ First World Cafe, Genting Highlands

Let's continue from my previous blog post: Relax. Refresh. ReEnergize At Pedas Springs Spa, Genting Highlands!.

After a wonderful 2 hours at the Pedas Springs Spa, me and my blogger friends, head for lunch. Everytime I think about food in Genting Highlands, a reminiscent of a 15-min buffet will flash across my mind!

Yes, 15mins for buffet at Coffee Terrace! Coffee Terrace serves one of the most variety of local and international cuisine. It was my first invite by Resorts World Genting for Glitz, and due to the heavy downpour and jam, we arrived just 15mins before the show starts! It was one exciting experience given 15mins to dine, and hundreds of dishes to choose from!!!

During my recent trip, me and my blogger mates were brought to First World Cafe!

This time, I can chomp all the food as long as I want!!! *Evil grin*

Though it may be exaggerating if i say this cafe is capable to seat 2800 people at once, it is true!

Since it was just after the Chinese New Year season, special dishes like Yee Sang, Roasted Chicken, Kam Heong (Spicy Fragrant) Crab and many more.

Me, being a ~~crap~~ crab lover immediately rushed to the Kam Heong Crab station. The aroma of the Kam Heong is very mouthwatering!

All the food are arrange in the center of the cafe. The unique part of this cafe is that every month, the dishes served will be of different themes. It may be Thai, Indonesian, Indian, Middle Eastern and Hong Kong food. So, no matter how many times you come, you will not be bored with the choices of food there!

Hmmm... i wonder whether there's any Shanghai-themed food? I kinda miss the sweet lotus root, and the vinegar shrimp that i ate in Shanghai~!!!

Another thing that impressed me is that fruits are abundance! You know sometimes i doubt that restaurants keep prepared fruits in bulk in the refrigerator and served them to customers. You'll never know whether it is fresh or not!

But in First World Cafe, you can see the fruits are cut and served fresh!

Time to eat!

A kaleidoscopic variety of desserts are served too! You can choose from pastry, cakes, pudings or red bean soup and sea coconut longan drink.

Happy Weekend!!! I was thinking of continuing my post on the recent Shanghai Trip, but I was drowning in the weekend mood. So, why not I post something local so that most of you here can visit and enjoy as well?

Genting Highlands!!!

Everytime when someone mention about Genting Highlands, then the first thing that comes across our minds is the HILL TOP, THEME PARK, CASINO, COOL WEATHER.

That was what I was thinking too!

But during my last trip there, I was given a surprise by Resorts World Genting. And I'm going to share it with you!

Being a person who loves to pamper myself, as soon as I stepped into the Pedas Springs Spa, i know that I would love this place tremendously. I was thinking "YES! Finally there's something I love to do in Genting!"

It's not that Genting Highlands bore me, but, I'm practically afraid of everything - THEMEPARK & HAUNTED MANSION. I'm too scared to ride on rollercoasters, and too scaredy-cat to enter the haunted mansion. When I'm up in Genting Highlands, either I watched XeRoZ play the game arcade, or bowling or gun-games. He had to accommodate me because I just refuse to go on the thrill rides! I don't gamble too, so casino is not for me!

So, the Pedas Springs Spa is exactly the place where I would wanna be! If i were to come with a group of friends, they can go on to the themepark or casino, and I am perfectly safe in this heaven! I can go for jacuzzi, massage, paint my nails, or simply watch movies in the lounge!

Being located just right by the outdoor theme park, the Pedas Spring Spa has also a special floating Spa Villa on the lake.

Couples can enjoy their romantic time together basking under the sun, being envied upon by the passerby riding on paddleboats, and being pampered with soothing massage, scented by the fragrants of the aromatheraphy!

Pedas Springs Spa and Resorts World Genting was kind to give each of us a foot steam and neck massage session!

I was uncomfortable in my tight jeans, and they even have some shorts for me to change!

The shorts provided are fashionable and comfortable too!

After the foot steam, I felt that my legs are being cooked. AHAHAH..Seriously it's very hot. This incident shows me how it feels to be cooked alive. I tried to tolerate the heat until one point i told the guy "HOT HOT" and he laughs! Then he push aside the towel that covers my feet, and cool breeze went in and soothe my cooked feet.

I may be exaggerating (actually I am), despite feeling burnt, my feet wasnt! Later that night, i flew to Shanghai and I noticed that my feet were SMOOTH, SILKY and SOFT!

The softness of both my feet lasts about 1 week after the treatment!

Overall, Pedas Springs Spa is a worthy place to visit and pamper yourself. If I am not mistaken, you can enjoy their service and good hospitality for RM68 onwards!

[Day 3] Shanghai: Scenic Places of Thames Town & The Bund

I can be considered lucky for being able to stay for a few days in Thames Town. As I mentioned earlier, this town is created based on the English concept.

I woke up as early as 6am to get dressed up and embrace the cold winds. After getting all ready, i called the hotel lobby for the tram car service. Well, I'm impressed by Liston Hotel for having a complementary tram car service for the hotel guests. The tram car is used to fetch people to the nearest convenience stores, as well as for sightseeing.

The first landmark that caught my attention:-

Did I mention it was a misty morning? Well it is, and it is cold too!

It was 6.30am and the sun had rise.

A very unique cafe made of old train, i think...

This is a boathouse, used in one of Jackie Chan's film.

There's also a monument of flying pigs made of recycled/used gas tanks. Really cute!

After the 2nd day of sales meeting, we head to the Shanghai city for tour. On the bus, one of our Vietnamese counterpart prepared this "asam". I find it very delicious and appetizing! Unfortunately, i didnt manage to ask how did they make it.

We arrived at Hong Mei Pedestrian Street for dinner.

Our dinner is Indian Food, at Delhi Darbar...

Honestly, the food, I would rate as "forgettable".

Next is the Huangpu River Tours...

It was a river cruise...

I begin to suspect that electricity is FREE in Shanghai, seeing the WHOLE CITY IS FILLED WITH LIGHTS!!!!

It was a cold ride too! I almost freeze to death!

The amazing part is that buildings in Shanghai are decorated with lights that can evolve in few patterns. It is also a form of advertisement, COOL!

[Day 2] Shanghai: Food Food Food!

In Shanghai, It was all bright at 6am. I woke abruptly, thinking that I was super late for my meeting (which suppose to start at 9am), but when i look at the clock, i was frustrated to see that it was only 6.15am.

So i woke up earlier than expected and dressed up.

It was the first day of the sales meeting, so everything is done in the hotel itself.

Here's lunch:-

The banquet dinner is held in the dome which is located near the hotel. It is definitely a very exquisite restaurant.

Dinner is served!

I've never been to such lavish dinner where so many types of food were served! For one thing that I learn is that the people of Shanghai have cold dish (appetizers) and main course + desserts. Rice are served last. This is contrary with our culture to have rice alongwith the dishes.

There are some food that I will always remember, the small shrimps to be eaten as whole, shrimps with vinegar (my fav!), honey flower appetizer, bun filled with various nuts. My favourite dessert is the Pumpkin TangYuan, i had 5 bowls of that. (hehehehe)

It was also my first time tasting black corn. Have you tried it?

It tasted like "pulut hitam" but more starchy and not as sweet as the yellow corn.

[Day 1] Shanghai: Thames Town in New City Song Jiang

Hello all,

My whole month of February has all involved travelling. Well, you may think that i'm pretty lucky (which i don't deny), but it was really tiresome!!!! I'm now sitting down on my bed watching Glee on 8TV and then decided to spare some time reviving my travels.

My flight to Pudong International Airport was 12.40am, Saturday. Earlier on Saturday I was in Genting Highlands attending one of the most awesome Bloggers Day Out.

Feeling already 50% exhausted, I rushed to the airport and spent my entire flight duration sleeping. It was my 1st international flight with Malaysia Airlines System (MAS) and i was so exhausted that I missed out the onboard peanuts, food and drinks.

When I woke up, I saw this unbelievable sight of dawn. Amazing!

Arrived at Shanghai at 7.40am, and took an hour ride to New City Song Jiang where my sales meeting and hotel is located. It happened that the sales meeting will be held in Liston Hotel in Thames Town. I guess it is a luxury hotel as the rates for my room is RMB1200 for the particular week.

I was lucky to have a room facing a spectacular view of the lake, a dome and the park.

Liston Hotel, a small but very neat and clean hotel.

After checked in, my boss brought us to the nearest shopping mall for lunch. This is where i get to feel the pinch of coldness of the brutal winter-->spring transition.

The temperature was 6degC on this particular day.

After a short nap, we went for a walk around the hotel. Thames Town is based on the English concept. The buildings were all designed to look like England houses!

The first ever Plum Blossom tree I've ever seen.

As Malaysia enjoys 365days of warm and raining climate, I've never seen so many bald "botak" trees before. Nonetheless it was amazing to see buds forming on the trees. I believe Spring will be even more beautiful!

After dinner, I took another stroll. It was freezing at 0degC that night.

The lake was lightened up with lights at night.

It was a lovely place and I had so many photos to share!

I guess I had to go now. So, stay tuned for my next updates!!!

Fluffy and Bunny Has Grown!

On 28th January 2011, XeRoZ gave me a pair of rabbits, which i named Fluffy and Bunny~

I'm sure that most of you in my Facebook has seen them.

They are shy, innocent and cuddly initially..

And of course, both occupied a fraction of the cage space.

But 3 weeks later,

Erm, perhaps i should consider getting another cage?

I knew that my baby bunnies will grow up someday, but i never expected them to grow as fast as this!

I'm feeding my bunnies 3 times a day - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner --> 1/2 cup of pellet + 1/2 cup of hay. Sometimes fresh vegetable leaves is included too.

Treats (occassionally 2x a week): Mandarin oranges (1 slice each), strawberry green top.

Out-of-cage time : 30mins to 3hrs (depending on how free i am)

Bunny and Fluffy are more active now and all i wish is they can have a happy and healthy life.

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner ^.^

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

It's 30th night of the Chinese Lunar calender today. It's time for family members to be reunited and have a fantastic meal for dinner. It has been one of the Chinese custom since centuries ago.

This year, the number of meals have reduced from 10-course meal to 7-course only.

My family doesn't have the culture of going to restaurants for dinner. So usually cooking tasks are delegated to the aunties, while the uncles take their role cleaning the house.

After a whole day of cleaning and preparation, here's our reward for the day :-

One photo missing is the Auspicious Roasted Chicken which was finished before i am able to capture it. Wahahahaha..

So yeaps, time for TV!

Can't wait for tomorrow...*hehe* Coz I'd get to wear my new clothes =)

It's A Rabbit Year!

Hiieeez...

It has been CNY mood and 2 sakaiis(Jian & Boon) are singing "Lonely" behind me. It's almost 2am and Im not yet asleep!!! They don't need to sleep as well coz busy playing...

I thought of having a nap at 7pm and ended up i slept till 12am. So...how am i going to sleep today??

So i thought of sharing something with you all!

I'm now the owner of 2 mismatched rabbit:

Fluffy and Bunny...

Fluffy is light brown, flurry and fat. Bunny is the weaker one, who has car motion sickness and loves to eat.

Owning 2 herbivore pets aint an easy job. They shit as much as they eat, and cleaning their shit is an additional task. Cleaning is fast, because their poop is dry. But, if they urinate on their own shit then a horrible stench will appear!

Overall, Fluffy and Bunny became good friends, both have different characteristics. Both also cute in their own ways.

Rabbit are amazingly clean creatures, they do not smell. They also will pee at a particular corner of the cage. Unfortunately, once in a while, one of them will "spray" at wrong place and pee on the floor =.=""

Fluffy is the most lovable one. It knows how to attract people. Bunny on the other hand will run to a dark area and hide.

Okies, time to put my bunnies to sleep..

Garuda Indonesia New Boeing 737-800NG

Last week, TianChad had invited me to the official launching of the new Boeing 737-800NG by Garuda Airlines in KLIA, Sepang.

We carpooled with Thomas Yap and Wilson. We were to register and enter the departure hall =)

It was neatly decorated with balloons...Yupz, today will be the first day the Boeing 737-800NG flying into KLIA.

There was a small but efficient ceremony, as the plane arrived sharp on schedule.

Initially i thought that the organizers would let us into the plane. So that we can see and experience the new features of the Boeing 737-800NG. Unfortunately, there was no such arrangement.

Nonetheless, the new Boeing means that the capacity for KL-Jakarta flights will be increased by 40%. Travelling will be much more comfortable too! Hello 2011 ^.^ !!!!

Hi all, I have been on hibernation since Dec' 2010. Well, was on holiday mood so I decided to spend some private time by spending less time on the internet. =)

To kick start msxeroz.com for 2011, i changed the header and the background =) Hopefully 2011 will be filled with more LOVE, and happiness..

Before Chinese New Year comes, I shall post up some fantastic Christmas trees in Singapore during my trip there.

#1: Choa Chu Kang MRT Station

Unique points: Cute Teddy Bears and Toy Trains were used as decoration.

(& Nobody steal the toys away!! *BRAVO*)

#2 Somewhere near City Hall MRT Station.

#3: Suntec City

Unique points: It's a Christmas Tree without a Tree.

(Should renamed it to Christmas Balls)

#4: Marina Square (correct me if I'm wrong)

Unique points: Another Christmas Balls but this one people can walk under it =)

#5: By The Roadside

Unique Points: Enchanting! Who would have thought roadside can be such beautiful scenery!

#6: Raffles

Unique Points: Have a hole in the base of the tree for people to enter and see a gallery of previous years Christmas tree.

#7: Bugis

Unique Points: Most of the Christmas trees no longer have trees so, this kinda not unique any more. LOL!

#8: Iluma

Unique points: There's a lot of trees, but every tree is hanging upside down...

Unique Points: Purplish Christmas tree!

(How many times have you seen a purple Xmas tree?)

#9: Near Somerset Station

Unique Points: None.

Unique Points: A Christmas tree made of ~~fake~~ Ferrero Roche.

(It looks weird for me, they should put a BIG STAR on top, then it will look more like a Xmas tree)

Unique points: Finally saw a Xmas tree decorated with gift box and ribbons! Traditional is always the best for me!

Unique Points: This should be crowned as the Queen of All Xmas Tree in Singapore.

We can enter the tree, and inside is air-conditioned, and has fantastic view.

Unique Points: Gold color. Gold is always attractive.

Unique Points: It's a huge tree, but the reflective plate spoil any photography here.

#16: Marina Bay Sands Hotel

Unique Points: The Ugliest Christmas Tree. Comparative to the poshness of this place, this tree is ridiculously small, underdecorated, and is crooked to one side. =.=

Malaysia Politic: Dewan Rakyat Kecoh Lagi~!

Once in a while, I'll visit Malaysia Kini for latest news on Malaysia's politics. And the ruckus in Malaysia's Parliament is like a norm nowadays. *Sigh*

Well, seriously, I've been to the parliament before a few years back. Most of the seats are empty (either our elected representative are too lazy to attend, or busy doing something else). The only person that i see, can deliver with his points in tact is the honorable Lim Kit Siang. I am not supporting any party here. As I listen to Lim KS, I noticed that what he is saying is true, it does happen and the thing that he reported is affecting our daily life. BUT, there are some individuals who keep disrupting his speech, and giving irrelevant feedbacks that sparks my anger. Sadly, there are also people who is using Lim KS lack of fluency in bahasa Melayu to attack his speech. It is saddening that people, especially our so-called leaders do not have the ability to think intellectually.

And today, 4 of our representatives are being suspended from the parliament (read here) . Which means, they cannot represent us anymore. This also means, that the Barisan Nasional has the power of the 2/3 majority (read here).

*Sigh*

The chaos in the parliament, is actually embarrassing to our people. But i somehow feel that our politicians feel proud about it. They look very arrogant, walk and talk like big "taikor". Perhaps they feel proud of being "featured in the television"? or perhaps they thought that is the way they "mempertahankan hak rakyat"?

What do you think? Did we choose the wrong leaders to represent us?

Is Blogging A Sin?

Approx. 3 years ago, my friends - Marccus & Tianchad created a blog and was so indulge in the blogosphere. And it was 3 years ago that msxeroz.blogspot.com was created.

Well, in just a blink of an eye, i have produced 353 blogposts. For me, it was a satisfying and fun. Reading back my blogposts, i can reflect on how much things I've experienced during my working life. Who says that life is dead and dreadful when we work? For me, it's the opposite way round.

The working life is indeed mundane and filled with stress. I was lucky that i'm blessed with a happy job so far. And opportunities don't come rolling. To be frank, my life changed when I created this blog. As a personal blog, I write about the boring life of mine, to the things i did. Then MsXeRoZ got her dot com, and finally emerge as a "more interesting blog".

More interesting in the sense of, being known, making lotsa friends, joining contests by Nuffnang and Facebook. The fact that MsXeRoZ.com had actually made me who i am instead of me moulding it to be what it is. Because of MsXeRoZ.com, i learnt to write my own HTML codes, edit video, use photoshop. Because of MsXeRoZ.com that i get to go travel, and enjoy free holidays.

Someone i knew told me " Eh, don't post so many personal stuff in blog, XXX baca tau, he marah (angry) if put too many personal stuff online".

Initially, i just ignore those remarks. Why? This blog is mine, and whatever photos I put up here is for public view. And I never post his/her public stuff anyway. Never before I put inappropriate content materials online. So, whatever XXX's remarks will not affect me.

Then come the 2nd blow. This time, I will not tolerate, I will hunt you and BITE you down.

1. If my blog is deemed inappropriate, please feel free to NOT come and visit me again.

2. If you wish to spy on my blog, feel free to do so. Don't anyhow ~~bitch behind my back~~ complain to my parents.

3. Going to club for events doesn't mean that I'm a clubber. FYI, some club events do not serve alcohols, and event ends at 10pm.

4. The one who brought me up, supported me, loved me and understand me are my parents. Don't you ever hurt them by spreading malicious lie about me.

I am who I am today because of them. If you are not making our lives easier and happier, I'd advise you to stay away.

By the way readers, is my blog content (apart from the header LOL) inappropriate?

Not too long ago (actually about 10yrs ago), I experienced my 1st period. It was painless but I thought I was sick. I let it on for 1 week, then i told my mom "I'm sick and I think I'm dying".

Mom said, "why?"

I replied, "My urine got blood. Even never urine also got blood."

Mom went into the her room and got me a Kotex, and said " You period-lah, bodoh"

I'm sure, every girls in the world have their own "period" story. Period or menstruation is an embarrassing scenario. I felt ashamed. I will get my pads from mom's cupboard, until one day mom asked me to buy my pads.

1. Minimarket cashier was a man. Unless its his wife on duty, I'd go home empty handed.

2. If i buy in supermarket, i'd take pads the last item before going to cashier. I can't bear taking the pads in my trolley and walked all around.

3. Pads must be in separated plastic bags. I can only tolerate if the pads are wrapped in black plastic bags.

Now, I'm no longer ashamed to be a grown up lady. I'm proud to be one too!

Being given the privillege to review the Kotex Luxe, I've decided to run an experiment.

Of course I'm worried about this "pretty pads". I want to know whether is it the suitable pads for me. My pads must have this characteristics:

PRETTY + COMFORTABLE + ABSORBANT

50ml of liquid is used to represent blood. An average of human blood being secreted out is approximately 30ml/day.

So, after pouring about 30ml approx. this pads have been filled with the liquid. That is why it is advisable to change your pads at least 2 to 3 times a day. Not only to prevent leakage, but for hygienic purposes as well.

Despite the pretty design, and being ultrathin, the comfort and absorbant of the Kotex Luxe Ultrathin Pads is good.

HTC HD7: The One

For the past weeks, it was a fun experience for me, being given an opportunity to review the HTC HD7. For most of you, mobile phones may be an accessory: You Buy-> You Use -> then You Change.

For me, my mobile phone is more like a life partner - Something i cannot live without. And once i found my soul mate, it's hard for me to let it go.

So i summarize my feelings on the HTC HD7 in this simple video. Hope you enjoy it.

Is it worth investing in a HTC HD7?

My answer is YES. If I have the money and need a smartphone, the HTC HD7 is a reliable phone.

What should you know before buying the phone?

The HTC HD7 works at its best with a data plan. Like other smart phones, the data plan is needed to sync the phone with your mailbox, Twitter, Facebook and many more. I suggest you subscribe a data plan with higher capacity because the HD7 is can be a data monster (depending on your usage).

Where to buy the phone?

Hmmm...

I don't really know where to begin. It was the Awal Muharram Holidays and My Selangor Story Results Announcement takes place in DELIcious, Marc Residences.

I woke up really early to finish up my HTC HD7 review (lols..last minute work). Ride on the LRT (really happy, 1st time in 3yrs)..

And by 3pm.. Me and 6 others whom i missed dearly since the contest ended walked to the venue. This is also my first time in DELIcious.

We were served in a nice fruity- Watermelon Mint juice. Tasted yummy and is really healthy i guess!

Was really playful throughout the day..

RedButtockz Wern was invited by My Selangor Story as a guest...Wern is unable to join us for the contest due to exams, but i wonder how would it feel if she's one of the contestants.. Then we'd officially be Chua Sisters from MSS Race (Copy from Chong Sisters from Amazing Race).

DELIcious was all prepared for us. It's amazing to have the whole front section of the cafe for us.

HELLO~~!!!

Tonight, I shall talk about my favourite features of the HTC HD7 -

CAMERA & PICTURES

Some of my friends, asked about the camera functionality, and whether the display screen of the HTC HD7 is comparable with the Iphone 4 (Retina Display). I do not have the luxury of owning an Iphone 4, and I borrowed 1 from my friend, Keith (thanks for the phone), and took a shot.

Here's the HTC HD7 & Iphone 4, and you do the judgement.

Why I LOVE the CAMERA of this phone?

Well, the main reason lies on the size of the screen, and the clarity.

This phone has a 5MP camera. For me, it is sufficient as a mobile camera. Most importantly, it also has build-in functions that you can play around. It comes with build in scenes, effects, adjustable resolutions, adjustable metering mode and also flash. This is why I call it the perfect mobile camera.

After capturing the photos, the photos can also be enhanced using the HTC software (Free Application, downloadable from Marketplace), The Photo Enhancer. This software completes my need for simple photo editing while being on the go (during times without the computer).

(Capturing photos in the dark conditions like this can be tricky, hands must not shake at all)

(Despite with adequate lighting, this camera cannot focus properly if we move and snap at the same time)

Despite the flaws of the camera, this camera has made me a proud. I was in different events and occasion, and there's many people taking their Blackberrys and Iphones to capture photos. Mine will be the largest screen plus, the clearest photo (at certain lightings). I didn't realise it at first but at two occasion, i find people peeping behind my back to see my screen and i heard them say "Wah!!! so clear".. *proud*

Another even say "Your phone is good. Mine cannot focus, but yours still can"

Gleefully I said, "Hehe..this is the brand new HTC HD7"

The photos captured will automatically be in the Pictures Folder. Pictures Folder is an interesting feature as well. Firstly, the folder's picture (at the desktop) changes occasionally & randomly. So once in a while, you'd be given a surprise! hahaha.. I just love surprises!

You see, the Windows Phone 7 is so fascinating that it functions like a computer. No. Correction. For this feature, it functions BETTER than the computer. Using a PC, for instance, you have to save/download your photo album from the internet. But for Windows Phone 7, everything is being sync automatically.

All my facebook albums is IN MY PHONE right now! This reduces the hassle of download my pictures from the internet. (Imagine how many hours it will take to download the whole FACEBOOK photo album of mine!)

I find this convenience a true luxury of having a Windows Phone 7 like the HTC HD7....

Too many photos? No worries, it can be categorize by the date the pictures are taken... =)

When I first got the phone, the 2nd most important aspect that I'd love to try on is the GAMES HUB.

It has been my habit to play a game before bed everyday (which is bad for eyesight, T_T)... But before being able to test-run on the game itself, XeRoZ already installed for me the trial version of Need For Speed: Undercover.

So, let's see how it goes.

From both mine and XeRoZ's opinion:

PROS:

1. The large screen is clear.

2. No lagging issues ever encountered.

3. Screen sensitivity on game action is good.

CONS:

1. The sound quality is bad. I personally, would call it "noise" instead. (tried on different games and find that the sound quality makes the music very annoying).

2. The 3 buttons on the phone "back, desktop and search" is too sensitive. When playing game and accidentally touched them, the game will be halted and we had to restart.

3. Limited "free" games choice.

The judgement is made based on approximate 4 to 5 games that i've had installed.

Basically the "GAMES" hub contain an impressive store of Xbox Live games for Windows Phone 7. I notice that most of the TOP GAMES are high quality (judge from the Need For Speed), while free games are really boring.

In the "GAMES" hub, you'll get updated with the latest news, create your own avatar, receive game invites, and also purchase games directly from Xbox Live.

In a nutshell, the display screen & touchscreen sensitivity is very good for gaming.

At this moment, most of the games I installed is the trial version or the free games. I'm really not that rich to purchase all the games T_T Perhaps one day i will try and update it here!

[This is a Review Programme for HTC HD7 Under MAXIS 10]

Yo Peeps!

Was getting tangled by the work and leisure that I couldn't find a time to sit down and review the phone. Actually the HTC HD7 was also one of the factors why I couldn't find time to blog about it. Well, I used to NOT have INTERNET ACCESS all the time, so I had to FIND TIME to sit in front of the computer to check on Facebook, Twitter, Emails, and then I will blog. But NOW, the HTC is "connect-ful" (self-made word, meaning easily connected to the Internet) that I read, see, and chat whenever I want. ~~I can throw my netbook already~~

So..let's begin! I'm not a "technology" person. Despite having an Honors Degree in Biotechnology, the only technology that I'll gladly use is the computer. So, being given to try the HTC HD7 with 9 others is quite intimidating. Nonetheless, I'll stay true to myself, and be honest with you all on what I did with the phone. And here's some of the features of the HTC HD7 that I am familiar of.

HTC HD7 is SUPERBLY IMPRESSIVE as a whole.

This is the main screen, which i labelled as "Desktop". With the large screen, we can customize what we want to fit in it with a touch of a finger. The interface is very user friendly, and simple. The screen sensitivity is impressive, and I like to see the way it scrolls up and down.

The only negative side of the desktop is it's design. 10 out of 10 people I'd borrow them to touch, asked me the same question "How to get back to the main screen?".

When I told them that's the main screen, they all replied the same thing "Wah, so ugly one" or "I want to snap a photo of the phone, do you have nicer screen to display?"

Sad but true, this phone, despite being capable of doing something other phone can't, also has it's limitations. Firstly, Despite it's huge 4.3" screen, I can't put my fav pop star photos as background display (or what we commonly name is "Desktop WALLPAPER")

Nonetheless, the HTC HD7 gives us an option to have BLACK or WHITE theme, with different Accents.

The Accent of colours only provide a little enhancement to the look.

(You can choose only 1 colour at a time)

Lesson 1: Making calls.

The first button you will see a "phone" symbol. Touch the icon, and you'll be directed to these:

The main screen of the "Phone" is your call history, and at the bottom of the screen, you'll find 3 more icons: Voicemail, Keyboard(to dial a new number) and the "PEOPLE" hub.

Simple as ABC isn't it?

The HTC HD7 and I had a love-hate relationship. And here's a feature that I LOVE and HATE at the same time.

The "PEOPLE" hub is similar to an ordinary "phonebook" of an ordinary phone. (Get what I mean?)

But for HTC HD7, it offers something beyond my imagination. Upon starting up the phone, i was prompted to enter my Windows Live Account. Then, I added some other accounts such as Twitter, Foursquare, Facebook, Google and so on.

The best thing about HTC HD7 having this "PEOPLE" hub is that EVERY ACCOUNT is being sync into the phone!

The bad side of it?

Imagining having hundreds or thousands of people's contact information ON 1 SCREEN!

The worse side of it?

Everytime you'd like to search a contact, you'll be in a trance seeing all the names of people (and you'll get confused with who and who, if you don't manage your email account systematically). That's what happened to me. I don't how which "Melisa" or which "Apple" in my phone book.

The worst side of it?

There's no categorization of the names, I can't group the people into "Work", "Classmates" and etc.

So, who to be blamed? The phone or me for not managing my email contacts well?

HAHA..actually this is not a huge problem. All i did was RE-manage my email address books and it is quite convenient to use now.

Now... when I've mentioned the bad sides of the "PEOPLE" hub. It doesn't mean that it's a lousy application. NO!

I LOVE the way the "PEOPLE" hub auto update my buddies msn profile pictures into my phone.

Now, I don't have to set their photos in the phone. Whenever they change their display picture, mine changes too! COOL!

I LOVE the way "PEOPLE" hub for making life easier. Within a person's contact information, you can directly view that particular person's FACEBOOK status and wall. So, I DON'T HAVE TO login to FACEBOOK to view it, the information is automatically sent into my phone. EASY!

It is also able to detect, every particular information it could retrieve from the internet accounts about the particular person. For instance, my blogger buddy TianChad..

I can delete unnecessary links, but because there's 37 of them, I'd prefer to leave it as it is for the time being ~~and force him to self-delete his broken links for me~~

Tianchad has:

1 x Facebook Account

1 x Windows Live Account

1 x Phone Contact Account.

3 Accounts of the same/similar names are a redundancy. This problem can be solved by "linking" all the accounts as "1 PEOPLE".

Lesson 2: Messaging

The Messaging function is as simple as Lesson 1 (Making Calls). Typing is a little hard for me because I have small palm and my fingers can't reach the whole keyboard . So, i'm still typing with 2 hands. (=.=")

The keyboard is REALLY huge, as the size fits the huge 4.3" screen. Typing is easier than other touch screen phones.

I really love to MMS nowadays (because the camera + screen is so clear) and also because...

Other people's display screen is so small!!!! Waakakakakakakakak...

[p/s: the display of the HTC HD7 is blur is because I focused on the Blackberry]

OK..i shall stop now for today. Gotta head to KLCC for my My Selangor Story Blogging Contest Finale Party. Every fiber of me wishing I can go home RICHER today...hahaha..

I Think I Just Got Scammed...

The story begins like this...

One fine day, i decided to send it my car for servicing. Then I was told that my brake pads were too thin and should be changed. I didn't bring enough cash that day, so i said i will come again.

So today, i dropped by again, and told the mechanic to change the brake pads. We agreed that the price was RM85.00. Then I informed him that the Cigarette Lighter was loose, and asked his help to tighten/screw it back to place. He said ok, but it is a tough job as he needs to remove it all and re-assemble. So he would charge me RM20.00. I agreed.

But when i saw the bill....

Tightening this BUTT Lighter costs RM65.00!

I shocked! I asked the man, "why so expensive! Tighten only ma!"

Man replied, "this one ORIGINAL one. Yours kenot tighten"

I said " He told me RM20, then only i agreed. Why u didnt call me first?"

Man, "Aiya, he dunno price one...nvm nvm, next time discount for you"

I paid, and left thinking "Matherfather, you slowly wait for next time la!"

So, you must be wondering, why i paid and left?

Why didnt i argue more?

Why i didn't ask for discount?

To be frank, i don't know...

I always thought that, people who does this repair jobs, have their family to feed.

These are people who are not highly educated, and acquired their skills from experiences. And these are the people who would get dirty to help you repair your car.

And i thought that i support their business, they will care for my car even more- as a loyal customer!

I don't know whether I'm too kind or I'm plain stupid!

This is the 2nd time i was conned by mechanics...

So, mechanic... I wanna say GOODBYE TO YOU. You will never see me stepping in your shop again.

When will I learn?

*SIGH*

I think that they should inform me if the price deviates from the one they quoted me (they have my hp number). And i should have a choice to either repair or not, since im not smoking or using that cigarette lighter.

So, for you who wanna know where's this shop. Here's a hint for you.

HTC HD7: At One Glance

Yes! I have officially used the HTC HD7 for 24hours now. For me, it is still to early to judge. But I know that some of you out there would love to know at least, a little about this gadget.

#1: (Most of Girls Would Love This)

The HTC HD7 Can be one of the girl's accessories (from a girl's point of view, which is me!)- A Mirror. The reflection is very good, and clear. ^.^V

Yupz, Not edited ya! My reflection is on the 4.3" LCD screen of the HTC HD7. It was impressive for it to be BIG, HANDSOME, and REFLECTIVE.

The resolution of the screen is impressive too! This is my self-captured image as wallpaper.

Upon loading, i will be dished with all the "widget-like" icons. It really took me some time to explore 1 by 1. And exploration is in progress. I wont be writing about every function, but most probably will share with you all, which application is important to me.

The HTC Hub. Being a 1st timer on a HTC, this is really impressive!

Upon a click, something magical happened!

It was drizzling here(real time) and virtual raindrops can be seen at my phone screen. =) I kinda love when it rains now ^.^ V. I wonder whether there's virtual RAINBOW or not. XD

The other buttons are vertically alligned (without alphabetically arranged). I wonder whether I can rearrange it or not. (Have not experiment it). I would prefer if i can group some of the similar functions together, for personal convenience.

Once i clicked on the Game Section...my phone disappeared from my hand...

Apparently, someone kind wants to help me "test-run" on the game section.

It Begins With Congratulations..

The Maxis 10 Reviewer Programme is about independent voices giving their free, fair and unbiased reviews of the latest technologies and devices from Maxis. Being chosen as one of the 10 reviewers feels like winning a lottery! There's so many applicants for reviewers, and yet I was chosen by Maxis 10 for review of HTC HD7!

Althought I haven't really reviewed it, it was really an honor for me to blog my way onto the Wall of Reviewers. I am the 6th batch of reviewers.

The first person i would like to thank would be Atreyu Strange. She was the one who inspired me to apply for Maxis 10. Despite her being strange, i did listen to her. She even guided me the way to go Maxis Tower.

My journey there is also a big joke, I walked to a Maxis staff and asked " Hello, is this Menara Maxis?" I felt as though, i came from kampung... So i took my camera out and pretended to be a tourist =)

So, cut the long story short, after the briefing, signing forms and taking the phone.

Here it is..

Carefully, i opened it up, and took photos with it.

HONESTLY, taking photo of the HTC HD7 is not an easy task! The screen is so reflective that it can be a mirror! Everytime i wanted to take a photo of it, I can see my own face on the screen!

Physical appearance: Handsome. Big but not bulky.

I've never had an iPhone 3, not even close to iPhone 4, never ever had an Android (never knew what it is also). But I was warped into another time space for suddenly holding a WINDOWS PHONE.

Basically, these are the things i should learn about the HTC HD7.

But, i did the most important thing first. CHARGE IT!

Shout Awards 2010!!! (Updated with Yuna and Mizz Nina's Performance Video)

This is my first year attending Shout Awards 2010, and it is also my first award show. I was surprised to see the number of people in the Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil. No doubt, this was one of the MOST HAPPENING shows in town. Thanks to Jestina for the tickets.

The world of the internet, especially social media sites is now abuzz with #ShoutAwards. This is the advantage of convenience communication. News of the Shout Awards winners are spreading like wild fire! So, I'll cut my long story short and feast you with some of my shots of the award show today.

The first performance by Faizal Tahir the Vocal King!

I was a fan of him during "One in A Million". He is truly a rockstar!

Reshmonu leaves an impression for tonight as well. With huge instruments and funky hair.

The Emcees are HOT too!

Sarah Lian, Hafiz and Henry Golding (not in this pic).

My favourite songstress/comedian, Adibah Noor and vocal queen Ning Baizura. I think Adibah Noor "shoot" Ning a couple of times, but it ended well. Eh Ning, i like ur heels XD

This is when Yuna won her first award. Despite being all covered up, her sense of fashion is very unique and suits her petite body shape. Keep it up Yuna!

Malaysia's TOP COMEDIANS in Cuci The Musical! I didn't expect them to dance and sing, but the sound system was REALLY BAD, we cant even hear a word they sang!

Nonetheless, it was an entertaining performance due to the colourful and bright costumes and their dance antics. featuring Harith Iskandar, Hans Isaac, Adflin Shauki and Nabil.

And bride-to-be Mizz Nina gracefully grab her 1st award for the night!

She was welcomed with cheers by the crowd. Truly impressive!

This award was presented by KRU.

Being good looking is simply perfect! Henry Golding (the emcee) also won in the HOT GUY Category. The prize? Being presented by 3 of Malaysia's Most Beautiful - Andrea Fonseka, Maya Karin and Daphne Iking.

(p/s Henry's not gonna wash his face tonight!)

I left early because I'm afraid of the jam and the sound quality is getting from bad to worse. At times, my ear cant stand the noise. (tsk tsk tsk)

DiGi Pimp My Music Event @ Zouk KL

When I saw the DiGi Music Event (with Mini Contest), I knew that i MUST participate in it. Why? Because I am a Nuffnang DiGi Angels, and being an Angel has proved that DiGi countlessly organized many wonderful events and parties. The entry qualification is as simple as ABC, all i need to do is tweet about my favourite Music Celebrity in the most creative way.

So here's what i did:"*Sings 2 #digiphone* If i had u, money fame & fortune nvr could compete. My fav MusicCeleb is AdamLambert. Oh @NuffnangMYpls grant my wish"

Even before Nuffnang select the participants, I already prepared my costume. Errr... Maybe it isn't a costume, I've prepared my "ornament" and blogged about it (Read it here: Party People Hey! It's Digi Pimp My Music Night).

Initially, i thought of going over as the BIG-RIBBONED girl (middle) from Orange Caramel (Korean-Pop Group). But I had 1 disadvantage, I didn't have a pink fluffy dress!

So, after the invites to the Digi Music Night is confirmed, I put on a 2nd plan.

A DIVERSION- Something that NO OTHER BLOGGERS, even my best buddies TianChad, Rachel Koko & Suresh would never imagined.

THIS, was my BACK UP PLAN!

Who is she?

Sun Mi (ex-member of WONDERGIRLS)

Then, the plan had to be executed...

And her comes Malaysian "Sun Mi" who is also a "K"-Pop Star!

(but the K stands for Kentut...ROFL)

I arrived quite late due to the bad traffic congestion along Jalan Ampang. But, nicely greeted upon arrival by my impostor idol, ~~Adam Lambert~~ Adam Robbert!

Both of us looking very "mengancam" with DiGi banner. The souls of Rockstars happened to flow into our body and we in turn, became Music Celebrities that night!

DiGi Pimp My Music Night, is an event to showcase DiGi's very own DiGiMusic Play! It is an application for iPhone users, and subscribers can enjoy unlimited music download access. Subscription is RM 5 (per month) ONLY! Nonetheless, DiGi is the 1st to offer iPhone application for UNLIMITED MUSIC *CooL isn't it?* At this point of time, DiGi Music Play has about 400,000 songs and has more than 15 000 users.

I took the opportunity to ~~molest~~ touch the iPhone 4 on displayed. Of course, played around with the DiGiMusic Play application. From a glance, i saw that there is many songs to be downloaded ranging from Lady Gaga to ~~PapaRoti~~ Pavarotti.

When I arrived, I thought the event haven't started, and food is just served. Then I realised that I missed the ice-breaking event! T_T

But thankfully, I didn't miss the highlight of the event- Getting To Know About DiGiMusic Play. Mr Darren Poon, gave us a detailed explanation on the Unlimited Music Application for iPhone. It makes me wanna own an iPhone too! As i mentioned earlier, the DiGiMusic Play is really worth the money (RM5/mth)! Even a daily car parking fees is more expensive than this! Mr Darren is has very good sense of humour! Those who paid attention to his presentation managed to walk away with goody bags!

Next, we were entertained by Dancing Music Celebrities!

Konco-konco Kak Ina KL (members of Kak Ina KL) were so sporting! They rock the stage for the Dancing Contest. You can spot Jason Mraz Dd Fabulous & Lady Gaga on stage). The contestants are required to play the Statue of Music. When the music is stopped, they had to freeze with the most creative post! The winner goes to Dd Fabulous Jason Mraz!

The 2nd part of Dancing Celebrities kick off with another batch of 5 celebs. When he music stopped, we were aghast that.. LADY GAGA (Jessica Tan) IS BEING *toooot* by ENRIQUE IGLESIAS! . This Enrique Iglesias is funny because he mentioned that he forgotten to put the "tahi lalat enrique" (Enrique's false signature mole)!

During the short break, a twitter contest is being held. 3 Questions were asked. The 3 fastest reply will win themselves something. I tried to participate too! But, my fat fingers were slow... T_T.. and so, 3 macho hunks were selected as the winners. Serge (as Jason Mraz) and Teh Tarik Memoirs (as Michael Buble). Seeing 3 good looking guys on stage, the crown went berserk!

What's going to happen next??? Maybe a DiGi Xmas Party? I can go as an ornament now? =)

IF I Had Rapunzel's Hair...

After watching the trailer, i couldn't help but think, what would it feel like to have a

70 feet GOLDEN MAGICAL hair.

It's not that I'm hairless, but O.M.G magical hair, man!

Imagine 70 feet long golden colour hair, that has "muscle" to move about~!!! How cool is that!

And so i let my imagination go loose and here's what i would do if i have 70 feet long golden magical hair!

I'd love to paint my house

Say good bye to tired arms~!! Say good bye to numbness and fatigue. Wahaha.. Painting is a suffering work. So, i'll let my magical hair to do all the painting for me. I don't have to worry about purchasing the right painting brush, my hair is the perfect material. And, at any time i need to change the paint colours, i just cut of the ends and it will magically grow back!

Sweeping the Floor

Ever hated sweeping the floor? Yeah, and mom would nag non stop if i didn't do any housework. If only i'd be blessed with a magical hair! I don't have to leave the computer. I can sit down and watch manga, blog, or watch the latest drama series, while my hair is away doing the sweeping job. AH~ Magical hair makes live easy eh?
Bring Dog For Walk

Don't you hate it when you walk the dog, and the dog keeps pulling you?

Well, a 70 feet magical hair can solve this problem. I would use my golden hair as leash on the dog, and bring it for walk. Instead of pulling the leash, the dog has the freedom to roam about 70-feet perimeter around you. The golden hair wrapped around its neck is comfy for the dog too!

Wash The Car

Washing car can be a terrible experience. It need utmost care to remove the dirt and stain. Using any ordinary cloths to wipe it, and you'll get scratches on your car! So, my soft magical hair can act as a non-abrasive scrub for the car! All i need to do is pump soap water and my hair will do all the cleaning for me.

Play Skipping Rope With Kids

It's very selfish to have something magical and not share it with others. That is why, i can be popular with kids and people and play with them using my magical hair...

Fly kite 70 Feet High Up In The Sky

Flying kite is not an easy task as well. The string must be light, but strong.. Well, with my magical hair i can surpass any kite-master in the world. My magical hair is light, strong, and it is 70 feet long!
Fishing

Wootz! Fishing is made easier too! 1 Fishing rod, fitted with many hair strands. I can tie as many bait as i want, and lure the fish with my magic golden hair~!!!

Swing Rides

Have you ever wanted to sit a swing on a high place and yet worry the swing will break and you'll fall down? HAHA.. I've always worried about falling down. And so, if i have a magical hair, i'd tie myself up high from ground without worries, and swing my self!

There's always so much fun to enjoy and experience with the magical hair. I guess i'd love to trade places with Rapunzel, and wish for a prince to rescue me from the tower!

Anyway, Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale isn't any ordinary fairy tale. Let your imagination run wild, and enjoy laughing throughout the movie!

As for me, I'll pray for a strand of magical hair to grow (if ever it happens)..

It has been one month plus since My Selangor Story tour had ended. The whole journey was very blissful, fun, and filled with sweet memories. NOTHING can ever replace the experience that you and your people had given me.

You are a perfect place. Complete with wonderful places, good food, and nice people.

One of my friend, Ee Ling, says that i can go to party as a Music Celeb with huge ribbon- The Orange Caramel! So i googled the cute groupie name and found this MV. Check it out!

Immediately, i fell in love with the singer, the ribbon, the dress and the song! Wahahaha.. so cute....

Looking for 2 more sidekicks and i'll form MsXeRoZ's Sugus (my group name) to the DiGi Music Party.. =)

Imma Imma Imma be... PARTYING again this Thursday!!!

Yups, i just got my invites from DiGi Pimp My Pusic Party from Nuffnang. Just because i had reduced my activities virtually doesn't mean that i'd missed out any parties by DiGi & Nuffnang..hehehe..

It's easy to get the invites. All i did was tweet something to @nuffnangmy & #digiphone. (click here if you are interested to join me for party~~~)

So now, I practically have about 36hours approx. to find my "celebrity costume". I am not a "costume" person, because i think i'm a naturally born "clown". But i made a public commitment that for the upcoming costume party, i'd be more supportive and unleash the beast within me.

I'm gonna knock the doors of my fav music celebrity and ask their tips for fabulous dressing. =)

Fraser's Hill

I've been trying so hard ~~until the point of smashing the p1 w1max~~ to upload this blog post in Penang. Hmmmphh..No wonder Streamyx is very "action" nowadays, they knew that no matter how bad their service is, the connectivity is still the best IN MALAYSIA ~~only~~ .

Well, the post that i was so keen to share with all my readers is about my recent trip to Fraser's Hill.

Fraser's Hill is about 108km from KL. And it can be one of your quickies to weekend getaway! It takes about 1hour 45mins uphill from KL. The road is narrow and a one-way system is being practiced. So, plan your schedule ahead if you would love to visit Fraser's Hill in future. (click here for basic info on Fraser's Hill)

Very many many many thanks to my girlfriend, Ms. Koko Koh~ who is so kind to organize such a splendid trip up there!

As soon as we arrived at the bottom of the hill, it started drizzling non stop. But i had a great ride uphill ^^! XerOz's words of wisdom " IF U VOMIT IN THE CAR, THE NEXT THING YOU'LL SEE IS THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR"

So we swallowed everything inside...Who would wanna be in the rain, and the wind was ferocious!

We checked in Fraser's Pine Resort. The apartment we took had spacious balcony, living room, 3 bedrooms and 2 washroom. Perfect for a weekend getaway for all 13 of us!

I actually bought a maxi dress that i adored, but i daren't wear it. So it was my first time dressed in maxi. The good side of it, i felt very feminine.. (something i rather lack of) but the bad side of it, i look like a pregnant lady!

Lunch on Sat noon, was done in a very random, but quiet place. I ordered:-

Nasi Goreng Kampung + Telur (2 pax)

Roti Canai

Teh Tarik (4pax)

Mee Goreng

Kuih (3 ketul)

Total: RM19.00
The thing that i love about Fraser's Hill is the lush greenery, fresh air and peaceful quiet environment. I also love the English-Like houses... It's very beautiful!

Cold was the part and parcel of our vacation up there. We were accompanied by welcoming rain drops and winds... Even hot chicks turned frozen...

I enjoyed being in the cold environment.

Dinner is Steamboat BBQ DIY. Again have to thank Rachel Koko for the food preparation. She even had to babysit Baby Jasmine. Only God knows how tough it was being the organizer.

The next morning, i woke up super early ~~MOSQUITOES I WILL AVENGE FOR MY SLEEPLESS NIGHT!~~ . Went for a walk downhill with some friends..

Nearby the apartment, there's horse riding, & archery activities.

I am ~~afraid of horses~~ not a fan of horses so i never took a ride. So, i took photographs of the nature instead =)

Schedule was abit delayed due to the rain on the 1st day. So our only activity is boat ride at Allan's Water. RM6/boat for 2persons (15mins). Quite fun!

Fuh~ Feel so tired as i just came back from Penang! So, i shall end here for tonight!

At the end of the year, Fraser's would be at it's lowest temperature. So, this would be the perfect opportunity! I'm definitely going Fraser's Hill again soon.

Here's how I would rate my holiday in Fraser's Hill:-

Environment : 9/10

Accommodation : 6/10

Food : 7/10 (can improve our steamboat and BBQ)

: 8/10 (restaurant food is also quite good, price is reasonable)

Bad side of Fraser's Hill: MOSQUITOES! Bring Shieldtox/Ridsect/Whatever! Be prepare for war!

Rachel Koko, when will be our next trip? Hehe XD
