How To Restore Deleted Google+ Photos

Shit happens.
Shit happens when you give a non-computer expert blogger (me) who is so messy with her photographs and blog materials (me) that this particular blogger (yes, me again) didn't realise that Google+ & WebPicasa is one and one the same.

GAH, and she (referring to myself) claims to be a blogger since 2009.
GAH.. this kind of blogger should seriously be banished into the caves of Gua Tempurung and live nomadically.

Well, I'm just describing myself, if you happened to be just as blur (or ignorant) as me, fret not. You are not alone. Before that, let me tell you how it happened. I accidentally clicked something at 2am last Saturday. Then the next thing I knew my whole computer images are being "sync" to the Google+. I was so worried shit because I did loads of porno I didn't want to upload my wedding photos online! I want to hold the control on what to share, and what not. Wedding photos are between me and family, so I hold on strongly that these photos do not need to be published online. So I took effort to drain all my energy at 2am to delete ALL (or almost all photos and Google+) and go to sleep.

It was not until just now at 9.30pm, after playing with Bunny that I just wanna blog about something and SHIT!

That masses of SHIT hit my brain and I remembered the horrible torturous moments of deleting photographs at 2am is ACTUALLY deleting my blog photos as well. Worse of all, I'm not an organized person at all, my photos are labelled and kept everywhere and there's no way to restore my blog back to its glorious days (is there?)

So I mentioned this shittiness to @Tianchad (who still blogs), and he says try to retrieve from TRASH lah. I was sceptical!

"CAN MEH? You think like korek tong sampah so easy meh? I deleted many days ago!!!"

I would die trying, so I did, and I managed to restore my blog. YEAY!
You see, the good thing about this whole online thingy is that even Trash is kept. It's not like those DBKL Bandaraya trash lorry that comes every 3 days and your sampah is taken. GONE, and life goes on. With just a few clicks of the mouse, my photos are retrieved as the trash is only cleared after 60 days.

PHEW. Thank God that I came online today, rather than next 60 days, right? Then all my years of crapping online, my victorious moments, my climax of everything (Fuiyoh) is all GONE. and I will definitely quit (or I thought I just mentioned that I'm determine to restore my blog back manually just now?) from blogging.

Ok here's the 3 CRITICAL STEPS of restoration of Google+ Photos:-

1. Login, click PHOTOS

Screenshots are blurred to protect those people I stalk online (LOL jk)

 STEP 2: Click BIN
Photos are blurred because these are old photos of me and my friends. I look horrible!
 STEP 3: Click RESTORE
Photos are blurred because these are my precious wedding photos. For personal viewing only. Not for Public Display.

All photos that were being deleted within the 60days period can be restored. Kudos to myself for finding this solution. and Boo to myself for being so silly.

Ah..what a tiring day. I was thinking of blogging about Cameron Highlands or Fluffy's story, but it's a tiring journey of restoration tonight. I shall pause my humble intentions and play it some other day instead.

Good night everybody!

XOXO
