Skin Problems?

Hi everyone~
I'm back, feeling better from my illness already!

After quitting my 9 to 6 job last week. Firstly, i felt empty. Empty because i can abandon my daily routine, living as freely as i want, and totally stress-free. =) It felt good for a couple of days but i guess i had to discipline myself and reflect on what i have done and achieved so far.

My biggest achievement that i had accomplished throughout my 2 years working is...growing up confidently.

During my final semester of university, i was hit by a terrible storm of skin troubles. Until today, i think it was caused by unhealthy lifestyle: food, insufficient water, lack of sleep, lack ofe xercise and stress.

I wasn't perfect, but i can rate myself as a cute girl (HOHOHO...) but until late 2007 and 2008, terrible acne attacked my face. I also suffer from constipation, dry & swollen lips occasionally. I left home in 2004 for college, which also means the beginning of fast food, maggi mee and sleep at 5am, wake up at 12pm era. Which is bad!

People come to me and say "What happened to your skin?" and i don't know how to answer.

I've tried almost every brands in the counter. I even went to see a doctor, who gave me antibiotics for my skin troubles. After taking the medicine, my skin was flawless, but i was down with fever ever 2 weeks. Problem: allergic to the medicine. So i stopped taking the antibiotics.

The pimples is the first issue.
Then came the redness and the inflammation.

It was so horrible and humiliating when friends offered to photoshop my face so that i look pretty again.

The question is:

How many people would give up eating their favourite food to have good skin?

I can't. Food is my life.

How many people would avoid sunlight so that their skin is not harmed by the radiation?

I can't shy away from the sun. I love the outdoor!

Does it mean that i have to sacrifice things i love to be pretty again?
I want to live normally. I want to eat the food i love, and i want to be under the sun happily.

Covering up is not a solution for my skin problems.

Make up can only conceal and enhance. It's never a solution!

In what way that i could be happy with how i look,
and maintain it that way?

I believe this is the question that i asked myself most as i grew up.

When i was having skin problems, someone i knew brought me to a beautician.
She looked at me under the magnifying glasses, looked into my eye, and told me
"Dear girl, you have been using the wrong products for your skin".

These were the magical words that i remembered until today.

Don't make the mistake that i did. You don't have to try all the products you saw at the counter or television. Stick with one good product that will take care of your needs.

It works for me now.

I shan't be revealing too much now. I'll share more of my secrets with you tomorrow...

HAHAHA Devi, omg we share the same fate!!!
But i did use toner, because after cleansing, i take the toner to lap lap muka, got black black daki keluar. So it actually boost me psychologically that my face is clean. HAHAHAH..effectiveness or not, is another issue. LOL!
