Project Alpha Auditions Video

I did the Project Alpha Auditions Video on the 13th of May, but I haven't got the guts to publish it. Well, it feels awkward to see myself speaking to the camera. TianChad was very supportive and had insisted that i complete what i had started. After all, it's better late than never!

To keep things short, please view my video here!
First of all, i would like to apologize for the poor sound quality. I was actually yelling, but the deafening winds were disrupting my speech. There was a storm at the sea, that actually forces me and my friends to retreat to this Island. While waiting for the storm to subside, i actually made this video!

*Note: I don't know why the embedded video does work on my blog. Anyway, here's an alternative for you to watch my video.

Hope you like it! And please vote for me here!
Contest ends on 6th of June~ So help me get as many "likes" as i can by voting "like" for me & sharing with your friends.

Thank you!

Phuket: Saying Goodbye to Phi Phi Island!

Ok, let's get back to my Phuket posts before i forget every single moment i spent there 2 weeks ago.

Today, i'll share with you all what we did on Phi Phi Island before we left for Patong.

We had an early breakfast (despite being drunk the night before), and left for the secluded beach located directly behind our hotel (Phi Phi Island Cabana Hotel).

Proud daughters of Mr & Mrs. Chua~
Why am I shorter and fatter than my little sis?!

Splash Splash~ Fish died because we stomped them.. LoL~

Wohoo~ I wish i can do this on land instead of water~
XeRoZ will die ahahaha

The beach view right in front of the hotel. (the one we swam earlier was the back of the hotel)
Nice right?

Poser Nicole~

Groupie photo behind this breathtaking view~

I was truly happy in Phuket~
Peaceful, beautiful and harmony despite the chaos in Bangkok~

TianChad is not only good at blogging, he's getting way to good with his gadgets.. (referring to his Nikon D90) Don't be "yellow minded" yah!

Our cruise will be picking us up at 2.00pm, so we had plenty of time to spend.

First time trying on the Oil Massage (300baht). Jack told us that we have to strip everything except our undergarments. It's my first time doing this in "public" although there are curtains.

Worse part is, the massage lady kept pulling the curtains open, because she has not enough space. If i can see other's thighs, I'm sure others can see mine too!

OH NO!!! I'm not clothed yet!!! RAAAAWWWRRRRR!
(Why am i smilling???)

Oh, okie, done~
I'm fully clothed and very energetic after the massage!

Fresh coconut @ Phi Phi Island: 35baht
Oil Massage @ Harmony Thai Massage: 300baht

I Wasn't Lying When I Said They Were Naked!

O-rite, in my previous post, i was all out declaring Maya Bay, a haven for fishes and corals. I mean, why isn't it. If I'm a fish i would wish that i'd be living in Maya Bay.. After all,

The only pics we had was this chick who's topless most of the time. Those covered with towels are either topless or naked. =P

Oookay, you must be cursing me for putting the purple bubbles on her breast chest. Sorry dudes, no horny horny here~

I'll be busy attending my exhibition booth @ KLCC from tomorrow onwards. Anyone participating in Pharmatech 2010? Find me at Booth 1104!

Phuket: Maya Bay, hills by the sea

Today's place of visit is Maya Bay.
Maya bay is a famous beach, because of its golden white sands, and also crystal clear waters. We were brought to Maya Bay for some snorkelling, and of course, it is a very interesting trip.

I was very scared of the waters, because i can see the seabed from the cruise. Excited at the same time, i jumped in. WOAHHHhh...i swallowed mouthfuls of water because the sight is so beautiful!

TheRedButtockz Wern is always the one yelling "EEEE...AAAA" and so out of no where, a tour guide jumped in with a float and brought her to see fishes. We joined the float tour a few minutes later.

The guys were nowhere to be seen. I wonder where they have been to?

Oh dear! Now i know why!
Nearby, there's a boat filled with naked ladies!!!

As usual, our cameramen on duty grabbed their weapons and began the shooting!
(I wonder when will they post up the shots)

Hi..thats me~ The sea mermaid dugong!

I think XeRoZ need to invest in a telezoom lens.. Useful for peeping purposes~!

Fav pic of Maya Bay!

The seaview is really astounding. I didnt see any fishes though, but the waters are so clear that the corals and seabed were glistening with the reflections of the sun. The waters are warm too. It'll be a perfect place for relax because of it's strategic location, there's no big waves!

Phuket: The Day & Night at Phi Phi Island

I can't wait to upload and share my moments at Phi Phi Island. Phi Phi Island is one of the main tourist island. It is also quite big, and there's a few resorts located at Phi Phi Island.

To go to Phi Phi Island, we can either choose go to by speedboat, or the cruise. For us, we took a ride to PhiPhi Island by cruise, the cruise takes about 2 hours. Our cruise boat is called Pichamon. Pichamon have 3 stories decks, with rooftop (sun-conditioned) and 2 more compartments which is chilled (air-conditioned). Free unlimited coffee, tea and cold water is being supplied at Pichamon.

Here's the photos of our ride on Pichamon. You can enjoy the sea breeze, and see the beautiful archipelago of the Andaman Sea.

Lonely fisherman...
Bright skies
The Faraway Land
Jello The Jellyfish
As I cant withstand the heat of the sun, i entered the air-conditioned compartment with TianChad. It's really cold down here that you wish you have blanket with you!
Really comfortable!

We were supposed to leave at Phi Phi Island, but the boat is making 2 rounds to Phi Phi, so we were told that we will be going snorkelling at Maya Bay!
(Check out my upcoming post for Maya Bay)

About 12pm, we arrived safely at Phi Phi Island.

The moment we stepped into the island, we are welcomed by the ticket counter. =.="
(Payment to keep the island clean)

Then only we are welcomed by the beautiful waters.
It truly mystifies me that the water is actually transparent/translucent!
(cant find the right word for it)
and fishes seemed to be always hungry and snatching for bread.

A walk at Phi Phi Island during daytime...

We then checked into our rooms here. Was surprised to know that this is the largest resort of the island.

The rooms are neat and nice. Unfortunately the bathroom is a little narrow.

At about 7pm, we all wanted to go for a stroll and look for food.

but the stormy clouds came real fast.

There were huge strike of lightning every minutes, and in no time, the skies turned dark, and fierce.
Coconut trees were standing tall despite the strong winds.

Another thing that mystifies me about Phi Phi is that their evening skies are purple in colour during storm.

Unique isn't it?

We have our dinner at the Beach Terrace opposite our hotel. The food wasn't impressive, and i didn't have much photos there. So i guess, i just skip it out.

But we went to Restaurant Chao Koh for supper.

There's many ways to have your lobster cooked. Ours is something butter and cheese. Very fragrant and mouthwatering.

Second option is to have it naturally grilled. I prefer this as we could taste the natural sweetness of the lobster flesh. But the one served here is too dry for my liking. It feels like eating rubber band. T_T

After supper, we went to sneak on the Fire Show at the nearest pub.

Phi Phi is an interesting island. The front portions are filled with thai shops. While if you walk into the back portion, you can find most europeans gather there. Even shops and restaurants are very western-oriented. With the pubs, clubs and music, you can party all night long here.

Cruise trip daily tour Phi Phi Island: 500baht (according to a local guide)
Lunch @ Phi Phi island: Provided by tour.
Dinner @ Beach Terrace: approx 300baht/pax
Lobster: 1200-1400 baht each (depending on size)

Additional info about Phi Phi: The waters supplied at this island is quite salty. Salty showers, salty swimming pool, even salty coffee and tea. The floors of hotel is sticky because of the salty waters. There's no other choice but to bear with it. =) Experience some saltiness may be good for you!

Coming next: Maya Bay!
